There’s a new Elder Scrolls game coming soon.

But it’s not Elder Scrolls VI. Instead, Bethesda’s sword and board series is getting its own version of Fallout Shelter called The Elder Scrolls: Castles. You’ll be tasked with building the perfect medieval domicile with all the amenities to keep your subjects happy, healthy, and therefore, less likely to stab you.

The Elder Scrolls: Castles launches on iOS and Android on September 10th.

Ok, so it’s only been 10 years since the last Dragon Age game launched. But after years of development updates, high-profile departures, and layoffs that saw long-time Dragon Age veterans leave the studio, BioWare is finally ready to reveal when we can expect Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Ghandi’s coming, hide the nukes! On August 20th, Firaxis Games will share an in-depth look Civilization VII at 3:30 PM ET on Twitch and YouTube. The reveal coincides with Opening Night Live, the last big video game event of the summer hosted by video game hype meister Geoff Keighley. Expect a 20 minute deep dive into the game including new gameplay footage and new features.

Mics down, picket signs up.

SAG-AFTRA has chosen the first picket line in the video game voice actors strike. On Thursday August 1st, members will assemble to picket Warner Brothers Studios in Los Angeles. Last week, SAG-AFTRA voted to strike under its Interactive Media Agreement after failing to reach a deal with video games studios regarding the implementation of AI protections for voice and motion performers.
